How we measure readership and respect your choices.
Readership statistics
We collect page-view statistics to understand which articles readers visit and how they find the site. These statistics include referring websites, approximate countries and device types. They use no tracking cookies and provide aggregate information rather than reader names or accounts. We do not include the words you enter in our on-site search or the part of a web address that points to a section of a page.
You can opt out using your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting. When either signal is enabled, we do not load the page-view measurement. You can still read all our content.
Our current setup measures page views, not form contents, private correspondence or individual reading histories across days. Our service provider processes site traffic to deliver the website and readership statistics. Analytics privacy information.
